ACTIA Nordic origins from Nira Components AB which was founded in 1996. In April, 2004 Nira Components AB joined ACTIA Group. We have broad technical know-how and extensive experience of developing systems for various types of vehicle.

ACTIA Nordic has high level of competence for developing vehicle electronics. Manufacturing volumes range from one-off prototypes to volume up to 100 000 units.

ACTIA Nordic possesses a unique competence as regards:

Adapting solutions to suit demanding environments
Optimizing mechanical/electronic features for large series
Mechanical/electronic miniaturisation, i.e. small and compact solutions
Mechanical development for all types of electronic encapsulation

Quality control

All development, design, and production are implemented with stringent quality requirements. ACTIA Nordic is quality certified in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. The ACTIA Group has manufacturing plants in varies part of the world were we produce in accordance to QS/TS standards. The exacting inspection systems at ACTIA Nordic, before, after, and during manufacture, and the properly adapted design solutions, are a guarantee for high quality and fault-free products. All assignments are implemented using well thought-out, tested, and well-documented working methods.

ACTIA Group
After a management buy-out from RENIX (a joint-venture between RENAULT and BENDIX Electronics), ACTIA was created in France 1986. ACTIA was the special products department inside RENIX focused on commercial vehicle applications. In 1988 ACTIA started opening new companies in different countries to support the rapid expansion. ACTIA is now located all over the world.
